Nose: A harmonious blend of tropical fruit aromas from mosaic hops and sweet malt aromas from caramel hops.
Flavor: A reddish-copper brew that has the bitterness of an IPA and malty flavor of a red ale. The addition of sake rice lends the beer a soft texture and refreshing character.
Food Pairings: The fruity aroma and bitterness goes well with chicken karaaage, yakitori with sauce, chicken nanban and other thick and heavy dishes.

Profile: One of the first craft beer brewers in Japan is Kizakura Co, a Kyoto-based brewery that's one of Japan's top sake producers. Kizakura started making beer back in 1995, using the same clear, pure water they've been using to make their sake.
