BAESANGMYUN BREWERY
Brewery: Baesangmyun Brewery Co.
Founded: 1996
Baesangmyun Brewery, founded in 1996 in Pocheon, Korea, is a premier South Korean brewery and distillery dedicated to modernizing and preserving the legacy of traditional Korean wine and spirits. Named after the founder’s father - a legendary master of traditional brewing - the company became a pioneer by focusing on high-quality ingredients and artisanal techniques. Their breakout success came with Sansachun, a hawthorn-based rice wine that revitalized the "Yakju" market in the late 90s, and they later established Sansawon, a renowned traditional liquor museum in Pocheon that serves as a cultural hub for Korea’s brewing heritage.
