Ohoro means “to continue” in the language of the Ainu, the indigenous people of Hokkaido. Niseko Distillery hopes the gin crafted in Niseko, Hokkaido, will be enjoyed by many for generations to come. Made using Hokkaido-grown sweet gale and Japanese mint as the botanicals and the high-quality subterranean water (soft water) of Niseko Annupuri. The result is a clear, smooth, yet robust flavor with a light citrus aroma that makes an excellent base for cocktails. Absolutely sublime neat, with beautiful nuances of yuzu, chamomile, and coriander. Recommended for Gin & Tonic, White Lady, Gimlet, and Martini cocktails.

In response to the decrease in sake demand (hence a decrease in rice demand) during the start of the coronavirus, Nanbu Bijin ventured into spirit production using the rice they contracted with farmers for their sake and putting it towards vodka instead. An exceptionally smooth and appealing vodka with a light citrus aroma. Iwate Prefecture produces the highest amount of charcoal in Japan. Kuji City, next to Ninohe City in Iwate Prefecture, is renowned for its particularly active charcoal production, and boasts the Hiraniwa Highland which is said to be the largest birch forest in Japan. Charcoal made from the local birch is used in the production of Nanbu Bijin’s Craft Vodka. Nanbu Bijin preserves the umami and mellowness derived from rice while the use of the birch charcoal sharpens the pure flavor.

This small-batch whisky is a blend of imported malt and some grain, lending it both a rich and round flavor as well as a sharp, bright finish. The soft subterranean water provides the whisky's gentle, velvety texture, allowing this 86 proof whisky to perform very well in cocktails. It displays gentle aromatics of raw honey, old temple incense and dried herbs, with a hint of the sherry barrels that the whisky is finished in. Where mass-produced rums use only the leftovers following the sugar refining process Grace Rum uses "cream of the crop '' fresh sugarcane to form the foundation of their spirits, resulting in a distinct taste and bouquet found nowhere else. Cor Cor Red is made by first converting their locally harvested sugar cane into molasses. The molasses is then distilled once to preserve as much flavor as possible. Aromatic, fully flavored and potent, this rum is a wildly fresh and compelling agent for any daiquiri-style drink. With yuzu, perhaps, in place of traditional lime.

A skilled blend of peated malt whisky aged in bourbon barrels imported from the USA and grain whisky aged in oak barrels. Both whiskies are put to rest for a minimum of 3 years before being blended. Soft aromas of vanilla cream, powdered sugar, with a hint of smoke and sea salt. Silky, easy to drink, and very well balanced. The whisky has a bold, smokey character and a mellow aftertaste. Perfect by itself, but does well on the rocks or as a cocktail base as well.

Sasakawa Pure Malt Whisky is a masterful blend of two unpeated malt whiskies and one peated malt whisky. The three whiskies are aged in bourbon barrels for a minimum of 5 years. Then one of the unpeated malt whiskies is finished in Spanish sherry casks. The whisky is astonishingly light, smooth, and soft, with a hint of peaty smokiness hiding beneath the sherry savor. The nose hints at crème brulée, far-off nighttime campfires, and a whisper of a freshly opened old book.
