SUWA MIKOTSURU SHUZO

The brewery was founded at the foot of Suwa Taisha Shrine in the early Taisho era. The local sake was named "Mikozuru" in honor of the crane that appeared on Lake Suwa, which is not a place where cranes normally fly. With a deep respect for local craftsmanship and natural ingredients, the brewery produces small-batch sake using pure alpine spring water and carefully selected rice.
