Taru Koshu White Wine
Tasting Notes
Made from 100% carefully selected Koshu grapes from Katsunuma, this wine was slowly fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, then blended with barrel-fermented wine before bottling. The aroma is complex and layered, featuring notes of Japanese citrus fruits such as kabosu, yuzu, daidai, quince, and grapefruit, accented by a subtle touch of oak. On the palate, it offers fresh, citrus-like fruit flavors with vibrant acidity and a hint of pleasant bitterness, all in excellent balance. The fruit and oak aromas continue to evolve on the palate, adding depth and dimension. This wine emphasizes harmony between fruit and oak, aiming to express the natural character of the Koshu variety as purely as possible.
