WAKU WAKU TEZUKURI FARM
Brewery: Waku Waku Tezukuri Farm Kawakita Co. Ltd.
Founded: 1998
Most Japanese beers are primarily brewed using imported barley, however, these Hyakumangoku Beer series, crafted by Waku Waku Tezukuri Farm Kawakita are made by brewers who invest their hearts and souls in growing the best barley themselves to live up to their belief and motto: "beer making starts from barley making."
ISHIKAWA
Brewing with Local Pride
Established in 1998 by volunteer members of the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the brewery was created to foster a new local industry by combining Kawakita Town's strong agricultural roots with commercial development.
Since releasing its first beer in 1999, the brewery has remained committed to using 100% locally grown six-row barley cultivated at the foot of Mount Hakusan. Brewing is carried out using pure subterranean water sourced from the mountain, while locally grown wheat and rice are also incorporated whenever possible. Among its rice selections, premium Koshihikari—widely regarded as one of Japan's finest rice varieties—serves as the brewery's primary choice.
