Ginger Rocks
Shochu Brand: iichiko, Barley
Follow these simple instructions to relish a delightful shochu cocktail using iichiko Silhouette, infused with the zesty essence of ginger and a hint of lime.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz iichiko Silhouette Mugi Shochu 
- 1 oz ginger syrup* 
- 1 lime wedge 
- Ginger Syrup 
- 200 g (7 oz) ginger, sliced 
- 200 g (7 oz) sugar 
- 2 g (1 tsp) clove 
- 1 liter water 
DIRECTIONS
1. Make ginger syrup in advance by simmering sliced ginger, sugar, and clove in water until the amount is reduced to half.
2. Put a large ice cube in a glass and pour iichiko Silhouette.
3. Gently add ginger syrup.
4. Squeeze lime juice and stir.
