Ginger Rocks

Shochu Brand: Iichiko,
Barley

Ingredients: 
2 oz iichiko Silhouette Mugi Shochu

1 oz ginger syrup*

1 lime wedge

(For ginger syrup)

200 g (7 oz) ginger, sliced

200 g (7 oz) sugar

2 g (1 tsp) clove

1 liter water

Directions: 

1. Make ginger syrup in advance by simmering sliced ginger, sugar, and clove in water until the amount is reduced to half.

2. Put a large ice cube in a glass and pour iichiko Silhouette.

3. Gently add ginger syrup.

4. Squeeze lime juice and stir.

5. Garnish it with the juiced lime wedge.
